AB 519 - Ending the Puppy Mill Pipeline

AB 604 - Voter Registration

In 2019, Assemblymember Berman authored legislation that made a series of updates to how voters can confirm their address for voter registration, including two versions of when updates to the VoteCal database could be made. AB 604 cleans up the Election Code by repealing the now-obsolete version.

AB 659 - Master of Divinity

AB 659 would clarify that a person who has earned a Master of Divinity may not display titles highlighting the title “MD” or “M.D.” in a way that makes it unclear that the title is actually an “MDiv” or “M.D.i.v.”
