SACRAMENTO – Assemblymember Berman (D-Palo Alto) has been appointed by Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon (D-Paramount) to Chair the Assembly Committee on Elections and Redistricting.
“I thank Speaker Rendon for his confidence in my abilities so soon after arriving in Sacramento. I'm excited for the opportunity to lead the Elections and Redistricting Committee. During this period of renewed attacks on voting rights across the country, California must continue to be a leader in improving transparency and participation in our elections.
