SACRAMENTO –Today Assemblymember Marc Berman (D-Menlo Park) announced the passage through the Legislature of AB 2176, which will expand the Office of Youth and Community Restoration’s (OYCR) authority to support a public health approach to juvenile detention.
SACRAMENTO –Today the Legislature overwhelmingly passed AB 3158, authored by Assemblymember Marc Berman (D-Menlo Park), which will enable West Valley-Mission Community College District (WVMCCD) to waive tuition fees for all students living in its service area. The bill now awaits the Governor’s signature.
